Reporting to the Executive Director of Development Services, the Program Manager, Donor Stewardship is responsible for the management of John Muir Heath Foundation’s donor stewardship and engagement activities. This position is essential to supporting the fundraising activities of the organization, enhancing the donor experience, growing a loyal donor base with a focus on donor retention, and increasing fundraising revenue. Responsibilities include the management of a comprehensive collection of programs designed to steward donors to John Muir Health including effective and creative donor engagement initiatives, acknowledgements, recognition, impact reports, donor journeys, maintaining relationships with donors and prospects, and other stewardship activities.Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of work experience in directly related field - Required
Experience:
2-5 years working for a sophisticated fund raising organization and/or program/project management experience in addition to the equivalent experience required in place of a degree - Required
Experience with Donor CRM Systems (Specifically The Raisers Edge) - Preferred
Experience in an organization with a strong programmatic approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion - Preferred

Extensive experience and knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio and Outlook).
Must have advanced knowledge and high comfort level generating reports, budgets and performing data entry, list management, and mail merge.
Excellent reading, writing, research and editing skills with impeccable attention to detail.
Working knowledge of digital and social media as well as event management experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work non-judgmentally and communicate professionally with persons of varied cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds and lifestyles.
Must be able to lift 20 lbs. and have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Must have transportation and availability to work some nights and weekends as needed.
Demonstrated experience promoting, or desire to engage in, belonging and equity/DEI initiatives, or lived or professional experience working with marginalized communities
