Job Description:

The Patient Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in building and maintaining positive relationships between healthcare providers and patients, ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the care journey. The coordinator serves as a liaison between patients, their families, and the healthcare team, addressing and responding to concerns from both inpatient and outpatient settings within the John Muir Health system.

Education

  • Associate's Degree – Required or 2 plus years in healthcare

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or related field - Preferred

Experience

  • 2+ Healthcare patient engagement experience – Required

Skills

  • Relationship based communication

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Data analytics

  • Excel and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of health IT systems including Electronic Health Records (i.e. Epic)

Work Shift:

08.0 - 08:00 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$35.76 - $53.64

Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
